On the northern coast of the Basque Country, Euskara is no longer always handed down from one generation to the next.
Where words fade, Basque identity finds another way: in gestures, in the bond with the sea, in moments shared at the table.
Hemen Gaude explores what is still passed on when language falters. Through Euskara, the sea and the table, the film captures a living memory, at times constrained, often silent.
A fragile but tenacious transmission, one lived without words.
